Presented in PDF format, the guide contains how to represent yourself, which logo to use, where to place the logo, and general information about the do's and don'ts of operating as an Authorised Reseller for BT (or rather, Authorised Supplier for BT). It is mandatory that all new Netify resellers are taken through the guidelines PDF, anti-bribery and corruption rules and policies, and general information about operating within the channel.
In summary, the rules are that all Resellers should never identify themselves as BT representatives (the guidelines PDF explains in much more detail). When processing a sale, you must tell the customer that the sale is being processed by your company, Authorised Supplier for BT. In addition, if the customer asks about your status with BT, you should always respond with "We are not BT; we are an Authorised Supplier for BT." All pre-checks must be submitted only with recorded consent from your customer. When processing pre-check requests, you should always have verbal consent from your customer to obtain the data. In addition, you should always gain consent when providing any data about the customer's account.
