- Best for (20 words max)
- Multinational estates with Asia Pacific sites wanting IP VPN delivered over MPLS.
- Review date (YYYY-MM-DD)
- 2026-10-06
- Strength 1 (25 words max)
- IPVPN datasheet states MPLS delivery across a global IP backbone with domestic networks in China and Australia.
- Strength 2 (25 words max)
- Lists six QoS classes and offers a Layer 3 IP VPN, evidenced as Proven.
- Strength 3 (25 words max)
- Names an SD-WAN overlay and a partner delivered managed option.
- Weakness 1 (25 words max)
- Telstra said in June 2024 it is ceasing new managed services, so managed SD-WAN needs checking.
- Weakness 2 (25 words max)
- Its UK datasheet pages redirect, so UK specific figures were not read.
- Weakness 3 (25 words max)
- No PoP count, NOC location or performance targets were found.
- Buyer size fit (comma separated: Large global enterprise, Mid-market, Small business)
- Large global enterprise
- Verdict (40 words max; must include one figure from the fact sheets and the review month)
- Netify suggests Telstra International for estates with sites in China or Australia, where IP VPN runs over its own MPLS networks with six QoS classes. Confirm managed service availability first. Reviewed October 2026.

- Legal name and number are a Companies House name match only. An outside research pass offered Telstra International (UK) Limited (06493667), but Companies House shows that company dissolved in 2016, so it was not used. Check the Telstra page (7 May 2024) claim of over 2000 PoPs in more than 200 countries and territories. Re-check of the outside research pass, 2026-10-01 (page-reader wording; confirm on the page): Companies House PSC page returned 403. The IPVPN page (2024-05-07) says MPLS and close to 200 countries and territories. The "services discontinued 16 January 2026" note and the Australia-focused consultation page are not supported; no discontinuation notice was found. Cells filled on 2026-10-02 from the outside research pass are Partial unless the re-check confirmed them. Not found means the pass searched and saw nothing, not that it does not exist. Verify each against its source row, then set Decision. Second research pass 2026-10-02, page-reader summaries: Parent is a lead only; the Companies House PSC page returned 403 to the page reader. Check on the register. | Left In progress 2026-10-06: UK datasheet pages redirect and UK figures were not read.
